Mia tria Esperanto-Tagon!

Saluton Esperantujo!

Pardonu min geamikoj!

So I just found out that I should use the prefix “ge” if I want to talk about members of both genders! I hope I can change the blog’s name to “Saluton geamikoj” ^^;

Anyway… day two of learning and I think I’m close to speaking freely about a handful of topics!  Esperanto is really amazing, it’s so simple yet it lets you build such precise and complex sentences without much difficulty! I’m really excited whenever I learn a new word, because it means I actually learn more than a DOZEN of them in just a minute! All I have to do is to play around with prefixes, sufixes and stuff!

Gxis revido!

Saluton!

Hello everyone! Yesterday I’ve started my adventure with Esperanto! I watched some videos, read some articles and got -really- interested. Reading “Language Hacking” by Benny Lewis pushed me to creating this blog (if you don’t know who Benny is, here you go: http://www.fluentin3months.com/language-hacking-guide/ ).

So what exactly is this blog for? To keep track of my progress, and to have a clear list of goals I want to achieve every day. My current end goal is simple: communicate freely in Esperanto by the end of the year. Today is 13th December, so I have  eighteen days to achieve this. How do I define “communicating freely”?

- being able to talk with others in esperanto for at least 30 minutes without having to look at a dictionary.

- understanding at least 90% of what I’m reading on blogs of other Esperantists

- understanding at least 90% of spoken Esperanto

- knowing at least 500 words

- being able to record 10-minute long video about my progress in Esperanto.

I am quite positive about this! Here we go!

(I apologize in advance for any mistakes, english is not my first language)
